Connecting your AI agent to FounderCatalyst
This section explains how to connect FounderCatalyst's MCP to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI tool.
Step 1: Navigate to AI Agents under the 'Intelligent Data Room' drop down.
- Go to 'Intelligent Data Room' on the left menu and select 'AI Agent'
Step 2: Follow the instructions to connect your specific AI of choice
- Follow the instructions to connect ChatGPT or Claude
- Authorise the AI and allow access
Editing documents using AI agent
Step 1: Check which documents you can edit
- You can first check which documents can be edited. For example, if you've closed a round you can't edit those signed documents. However, if you're in the process of defining a round then you can.
Step 2: Edit document
- Let the AI know which document you want to edit and type in the clause (or whatever you want editing / removing / adding)
Step 3: Review edit
- Navigate back to AI Agent to see the AI edit. You can "Approve and apply" or "Reject". If you approve the changes will be implemented and you can see these in the document. The document will be flagged as 'Customised'

Ask the AI a question about your documents
- You ask the question and the AI will read the relevant document and provide an answer.
